I am sure want counseling services. How do I begin?
You can schedule online HERE or you can reach me by phone or email HERE. I will be glad to give you a FREE consultation which allows you to tell me briefly what issues you are facing and for us to explore together if you will be a good fit for online counseling services offered with Balancing Eden Counseling LLC. This is typically 15-30 minutes.
How can I best reach you?
You can reach me two ways. You can call or text me at 864-214-6393. I will likely be attending to other clients, so if you leave me a message, I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also reach me by email at email@balancingedencounseling.com. I tend to check my voicemail and email throughout the day. When I notice you have reached out, I will try to get in touch with you immediately. However, I normally tell people I will get back to them within 24 hours because it depends on when I have checked my voicemail or email.
What if I only have Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance?
Balancing Eden Counseling LLC does accept insurance. I am currently accepting Cigna, Blue Cross, and Blue Shield, Optum, United Healthcare, and am in the process of being credentialed with Aetna.
For those with out-of-network insurance, I am also happy to provide you with an invoice or super-bill for services that you can provide to your provider for direct reimbursement should that be a possibility.
I can also provide a curiosity of billing out-of-network insurance companies, while you only pay your copay and coinsurance. However, if your insurance company does not cover the charges for your session, you will be billed the remainder amount.
Balancing Eden Counseling LLC does serve “self-pay” clients. Fees are billed after each session to the debit/credit card the client adds to their file. All Major Credit and Debit Cards Accepted.

Can I add you on social media?
Balancing Eden Counseling LLC’s social media and blog are for general information purposes. I, Asha Griffin, do not encourage clients to find me on my personal social media and add or follow me as a friend. I do not promote social media relationships with clients.
I do not accept friend requests from current or former clients on any social media sites such as Facebook or LinkedIn. Friending clients as friends compromises counseling and treatment boundaries. I do not follow former or current clients on any social media sites such as Twitter or Instagram. I am concerned with your privacy, therefore following would compromise your confidentiality. Practitioners are responsible to establish effective boundaries with clients to ensure safety, confidentiality, and clear lines between public and private information.
Once information is put out on the web or other social media services, it is permanently available to anyone. For this reason, I will not respond to any online reviews or social media requests. I discourage you from rating or commenting on our services as this leaves you open to losing therapeutic confidentiality.
