Investment

A consultation allows you to tell me briefly what issues you are facing and for us to explore together if you will be a good fit for the online counseling services offered by Balancing Eden Counseling LLC. This is typically 15 minutes.

An initial intake assessment identifies and explores your “chief complaint,” takes personal history and information, and reviews your current functioning. This intake interview helps the counselor begin to create a treatment plan to help guide the counseling sessions. This session typically lasts 60 minutes. All clients, regardless of whether they want a brief, video, or phone appointment, have to be available to attend this initial intake assessment through video or phone for 60 minutes at their normal rate. If the initial intake assessment is not completed in 60 minutes, another intake appointment will be scheduled to finish up the process.

Online video and phone Individual sessions are where ongoing clients work one-on-one with a counselor in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Counseling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. This session typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes.

Fees

If you are ready to book a consultation call, click the schedule button above. Once you click on SCHEDULE, you will be asked to create a patient profile and log in. Please remember that the information you provide in the patient portal will be kept confidential and that all software used is HIPAA-compliant.

Payment

I do require a credit card on file when the initial assessment appointment is made.

All Major Credit and Debit Cards are Accepted.

Insurance

Balancing Eden Counseling LLC does accept insurance. I am currently accepting: Cigna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, First Health Network, United Health Care, and Optum.

For those with out-of-network insurance, I am also happy to provide you with an invoice or super-bill for services that you can provide to your provider for direct reimbursement, should that be a possibility.

I can also provide the courtesy of billing out-of-network insurance companies, while you only pay your copay and coinsurance. However, if your insurance company does not cover the charges for your session, you will be billed for the remainder.

Sliding Scale

I offer a sliding fee scale and a reduced fee scholarship to clients without insurance. Contact me to learn about Balancing Eden Counseling LLC’s policies.

Cancellation Policy

If you are a no-show for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not given notification at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
